San Diego Black Pride’s signature program is our annual Black Pride Festival
Under the theme Unbound & Unlimited, San Diego Black Pride 2026’s celebration is a two-day experience grounded in freedom of expression, lineage, imagination, and collective care. UNBOUND speaks to releasing ourselves from boxes, from a single narrative of Black queerness, from hierarchies of identity or expression. UNLIMITED honors abundance, intergenerational wisdom, and futuristic Black queer joy. Every element of this weekend is intentionally designed as a living village where joy, art, history, and community care coexist. This is not just a celebration, it is a declaration. A space curated by us and for us, rooted in pleasure as resistance and joy as strategy. We remain a vital haven for the Black queer and trans community — but we can’t do it alone. We need your support to continue providing transformative programming, essential services, and vibrant events that uplift, inform, advocate, and sustain our community.
